  1. Holter monitoring – It is a small device that you are required to wear. It records your heart activities for 24 to 72 hours.
  1. Cardiac catheterization – It is an examination in which the doctor will insert a tube in your vein. This tool will collect images inside your body for the doctor to analyze.

Ways to prevent having a heart disease

There are a lot of risk factors and possible causes that can lead to heart disease. It can be your age, family history, and even gender. Other times, it can be because of your lifestyle. If you are a smoker, exposed to radiation, or obese.

Get proper sleep

Not having enough sleep can have an effect on your daily life. It can ruin your concentration, make you feel tired all day, or worse, get a heart disease. But how? Quit smoking

Research shows that smoking has a tendency to increase your blood pressure that can lead to stroke or heart attack. This is why it recommended that either you never try smoking or quit as early as today. However, be sure that you consult your doctor on how you can stop smoking without having side effects.

Avoid getting stressed

Stress is not that easy to avoid especially when you are under pressure or is in a difficult situation. You cannot just simply be calm when something tragic or irritating happens to you. But, if you keep on getting stressed and your blood pressure rises, then you can have a heart disease.

Doctors recommend that you have it checked at least once a year. If you have a history of high blood pressure than it is best to have it checked regularly. You can also change your lifestyle to achieve this part.

Keep a healthy weight

Eating can be fun and enjoyable. No one can ever say no to eating especially when it is your favorite food. However, you must keep a stable weight if you want to have a healthy diet. What you can do is eat loads of vegetables, fruits, and other nutrients that are good to your body. Avoid eating canned goods and junk foods.

Exercise regularly

Exercise can keep your body healthy by strengthening your bones and shaping your muscles. But did you know that it can lower your risk of having a heart disease? Yes, it does. Exercising can keep your blood pressure at a normal level and make sure that you have a healthy weight.

So what you can do is make sure that you allot time for exercising to keep your body fit and healthy.
